  • This is another beautiful brooch made from a Scottish Mineral found whilst out on one of our adventures. It had such a lovely high dome on it that it just needed to be cut in half and polished. It's one of my takes on a contemporary version of the old Scottish agate brooches traditionally worn at weddings as a kilt sash , but also an every day item to celebrate the beauty of Scotlands minerals. This brooch is made with recycled sterling silver and measures roughly 40mm across by 35mm wide, and comes bearing the Edinburgh Assay office hallmark.
